Dr Sonia Hossain is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist. She has trained in Australia and overseas as an Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist with clinical experience in Australia since 2008.
Dr Sonia consults both private and public patients. Consultations are available only at Barton Specialist Clinic. She has private operating lists at Calvary Bruce Private Hospital and public operating lists at North Canberra Hospital and Queanbeyan District Hospital.
Her main interests are in general obstetrics, laparoscopic surgeries and colposcopy.
Dr Sonia provides all general gynaecological and obstetrics services.

Dr Sonia has 3-4 month wait for a standard referral, however urgent referrals are usually accommodated at much shorter wait time. If you are a referring practitioner who has an urgent patient, please do not hesitate to call the clinic and speak with the practice manager.
