Dr Drew Marshall is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who joined BSC in early 2022.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He graduated from The University of Adelaide Medical School and embarked on his initial medical training in South Australia. Dr Marshall completed his specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Westmead Hospital and Nepean Hospital in Sydney. Westmead Hospital is a major teaching and research hospital and is one of the busiest maternity units in Australia.
In his final two years of specialist training, he was the Maternal-Fetal-Medicine Fellow at Nepean Hospital, where he managed complicated and high-risk pregnancies.
Dr Marshall offers Cervical Screening Tests, colposcopy for abnormal cervical screening results, IUD insertion and removal, endometrial biopsy, and vulval biopsy in his well-equipped rooms. IUD insertion and removal under anaesthesia, hysteroscopy, Dilatation and Curettage (D&C), polypectomy, permanent contraception, endometrial ablation, and LLETZ procedure will be done in the theatre.
Dr Marshall has admitting rights at Calvary John James Hospital and Barton Private Hospital, and has a public list at Queanbeyan District Hospital.
His approach is centred around building open, empathetic, and respectful relationships with his patients. He believes his role is to help his patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make the best decisions for their health and well-being.
